Are you interested in volunteering at some of the exciting sporting, cultural and charity events that are taking place around Scotland? Event Team links volunteers with opportunities to participate in the work that goes on behind the scenes to make these events happen.

Be it car park attending, marshalling or administration, it’s hard but enjoyable work. Register your interest now and view some of the events taking place now where volunteer support is needed.

• Become part of the Event Team by registering your details with volunteerscotland.org.uk.
• Event Organisers can search volunteers based on your skills, experience and the type of event you wish to participate in.
• If your profile fits the bill for an event, the organiser will send you an email via the system to inform you of their interest.
• It is then in your hands to get back in touch with the event organiser if it is an event you are interested in volunteering with.
• Once you have signed up you can update your profile at any time to stop being contacted by event organisers

Please note that while the Event Team grows event organisers will not have access to this capability until later in the year, we will keep you up to date with progress in the coming weeks.

• Event Organisers have no access to any of the personal data that you register with volunteerscotland.org.uk.
• The volunteer search carried out by an event organiser is completely anonymous, the event organiser will only be informed of the total number of volunteers that meet their search criteria.
• The email procedure is also carried out anonymously, emails are sent to Event Team volunteers direct from the search system without the addresses being accessed by the event organiser.
