International Voluntary Service
IVS offers a range of options for volunteering both in the UK and overseas. Short term projects (2-6 weeks) take place in around 50 countries worldwide. The North South Programme is for more experienced volunteers and offers short and longer term opportunities in Africa, Asia and South America.

Volunteer Development Scotland
As Scotland's Centre for Excellence in Volunteering their approach to modernising volunteering is built on three areas; providing leadership which enables others to identify ways in which volunteering contributes towards outcome; improving the quality of the volunteering experience by enhancing the practice of volunteers management; sharing evidence that informs modern volunteering policy and practice. They also maintain and develop this website in partnership with the Volunteer Centres.
