The Friends of Allachburn are a committee of local people whose aim is to make the lives of the residents of Allachburn Care Home that little bit more comfortable and to support the staff who do a magnificent job. Throughout the year we raise money for "treats" - we help with the things that Aberdeenshire Council cannot provide, eg the provision of flower tubs in the Care Home garden, residents' birthday presents, regular visits from professional entertainers. We also assisted with the purchase of a second mobility hoist and published a 2011 Deeside Calendar.
