Powis Gateway Community Centre is probably the first of many Community Learning Department Community Centres to become a Voluntary Community Centre. In the present financial climate, this pilot scheme is an exciting place to be. In the first year we have exceeded our targets of footfall, finances, and range of activities. This is an opportunity to join a small, but dedicated team of volunteers At present we have a part time caretaker and soon we plan to have a part time Community Centre Co-ordinator.
