Our core purpose as West Dunbartonshire's Third Sector Interface is to represent, advise, support and develop all levels of voluntary and community activity across West Dunbartonshire. The core purpose is achieved by: Assisting voluntary and community organisations to come together for common purposes. Enabling local people to gain access to decision making processes and planning processes which affect their community. Presenting the common policies and concerns of voluntary and community organisations. Exploring local needs, identifying and locating resources for the benefit of all voluntary and community organisations Our Volunteering service promotes and increases the profile of volunteering within West Dunbartonshire. Our aim is to increase the number of opportunities for people to volunteer, promoting opportunities and increasing the number of local residents giving their time for the benefit of the community.
