The Forest is an arts space volunteer run, self funded, independant, not for profit and provides free access. It is available to all people, for events, art, discussion and cultural activities of all kinds, It is funded by its vegetarian cafe, Volunteer efforts help fund: free events, community art gallery, free wi-fi, zeotropes, expensive artistic equipment (decks, pa, projectors), shop. communitygarden, free educational workshops/skillshares, a rehearsal/recording space, a darkroom, a free bike hire scheme, a swap library, a range of interesting publications, a record label and much much more.
