About
The LGBT Centre for Health and Wellbeing is a 5-year project established in summer 2003 to improve the health and wellbeing of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) people living in and travelling to Edinburgh and the Lothians. The project aims to work with LGBT communities to challenge health inequalities, and raise awareness and understanding amongst the NHS and other health providers. The project has a regular programme of activities and houses a number of community groups, as well as providing training to health providers, such as GP surgeries.
