health in mind was established in 1981 under the name of Edinburgh Association for Mental Health. In June 2003 we changed our name to health in mind to reflect the intention of the organisation to include the wider issues of wellbeing within its activities. Our principle purpose is to promote the health and well being of people who experience mental health difficulties. We do this by providing an extensive range of services and by working in partnership with others.
