Our scheme offers short breaks to children with learning disabilities. The child is linked to one of our volunteers and visits that volunteer on a regular and planned basis. Some children spend a few hours with their volunteer. Others can go on to stay overnight in the volunteer's home for upto 2 weeks, although 1 or 2 night breaks are more common.
