The British Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities. When the crisis is over, we help people recover and move on with their lives. As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, the British Red Cross has in a unique position in the area of informing and inspiring Scotland's young people on global citizenship, humanitarian issues, disaster relief, and sustainable development.
