About Opportunity
Volunteer driver/escort with MIDAS required to transport our senior clients to and from Loanhead Community Learning Centre Kabin within the local area, ensuring their safety whilst using mini-bus service. Volunteer driver/escort should support clients who need help from their house to the bus and those who use mobility aids.

About Loanhead Community Learning Centre
Loanhead Community Learning Association promotes educational, social welfare and recreational opportunities for people of all ages and abilities including families, young people and children within Loanhead and the surrounding villages. The organisation also supports and maximises the role of volunteers in the work of the centre and proactively ensures marginalised groups (i.e. disabled people, people on low income and lone parent families) have priority access to the centre and its services.
Skills & Experience
Volunteers should be courteous, enthusiastic, friendly with a positive attitude and enjoy helping people with their transport needs.
Travel Details
The opportunity is operated from Loanhead Community Learning Centre Kabin to Loanhead and surrounding areas. Lothian buses 37 & 40.

Due to driving/insurance restrictions.

Training and Induction Details
All volunteers will be given an induction and a volunteering pack, on the job training and will be supported by the Development Worker.

We pay public transport rates and reimburse volunteers on receipt of bus tickets weekly.
