About Opportunity
Angus Talking Newspaper Association produce a monthly CD of recorded news from local press which is distributed to our members who have visual impairments. This service is run by volunteers and provides a really worthwhile resource for members.
Skills & Experience
Volunteer readers should be willing to provide a spoken recording of local news - so a clear speaking voice is needed. Our IT volunteers need a basic grasp of IT to ensure successful recording of our service.
Travel Details
We are currently keen to recruit a new reader from the Carnoustie area, a knowledge of IT would be useful to provide a back up service. We are also looking for an IT volunteer to provide support in the Brechin area. Both opportunities will take place once a month for roughly an hour.
