About Opportunity
Organise fundraising walk(s) in your local area to promote an active lifestyle and fundraising. Your role would involve:
- Identifying walk(s) in your area that are suitable for the participants that you aim to recruit
- Conduct a risk assessment of the walk to ensure all walkers are safe and the environment is not adversely affected
- Advertise and publicise your BHF Walk (with the help and assistance from your BHF regional office)
- Recruit and register walkers and encourage sponsorship and fundraising
- Manage the walk on the day to ensure all walkers are fully briefed on the route and other relevant details and that all volunteers understand their role
- Encourage walkers to continue walking and to return to your BHF Walk again in the future.
