Travel Details
Being a wheelchair user is not a barrier to this opportunity as long as the person can travel independantly or provide his or her own travelling companion. The facilities of each collection point will differ so it may be best to call in advance to assess whether the premises are suitable.
Restrictions
Minimum age is due to insurance restrictions.

Expenses Detail
Expenses are reimbursed into the volunteer's bank account, they are not available in advance. We reimburse travel costs by public transport or by mileage (minimum rates apply). Refreshments depending on the length/time of the volunteering activity. We ask volunteers to wait until we owe them a reasonable amount before submitting their claim to keep our admin costs to a minimum.
Frequency & Commitment
Volunteers will be asked to collect as and when BHF Scotland are granted permission to collect in public areas.
Minimum Age
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
