About Opportunity

Administrator required to provide administrative support to victim support service in Dundee and to carry out administrative duties effectively and efficiently, including word processing, copying, filing and mail; respond to those who contact the service by phone or in person, undertaking reception duties appropriately; implement and maintain an efficient and effective filing system, including the maintenance of confidential records, eg, volunteer and client records; maintain and update an office inventory; maintain stationery stocks and place orders to external suppliers; provide administrative support, as appropriate, to Service Delivery Officer and wider organisation as required.

About Victim Support Dundee

Victim support provides practical help and emotional support to victims of crime and anyone affected by crime. People can suffer greatly in the aftermath of crime and many benefit from talking about how they have been affected. They often need help with practical matters such as information about the Criminal Justice System and compensation claims.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who is computer literate, with good organisational and administrative skills and experience. You should also have good oral and written communication skills, and be tactful, diplomatic and non-judgemental, able to relate to people in all situations. We would prefer someone who can be flexible.
