About Opportunity
British Red Cross volunteers are trained and equiped to deliver Therapeutic Care by way of a gentle massage. The skill is intended to relieve pain and stress and alleviate symptoms of illness and is often provided to the elderly or those who suffer from medical pain. Other than the delivery of this massage our volunteers take the opportunity to chat with the client not only relaxing them but also providing social stimulation and a feeling of well being.

Expenses Detail
Travel expenses are paid as appropriate at 40p per mile paid directly into volunteers bank accounts on receipt of a completed claim form. Other incidental expenses are re-imbursed.
