The main tasks are to: 1. represent the Foundation in a professional, and courteous manner 2. accept donations from the public. 3. transport fundraising materials including collection buckets and banner. 4. responsibility for cash handling. Optional task of counting and banking of money.

To provide extra services and equipment to sick children treated at Yorkhill Hospital
Skills & Experience
Driving license would be preferable, and a willingness to travel. Friendly and sociable as this is a very public facing role. Good time keeping skills. Honest and reliable. Good communication skills are essential as volunteers must be prepared to answer questions in respect of the Foundation from the general public.
Travel Details
Various locations throughout the West of Scotland eg, supermarkets, shopping centres, sporting and entertainment venues.
Training and Induction Details
No overall training, however the volunteer would spend a bit of time with a member of the fundraising staff to go through key messages and rules.

Frequency & Commitment
Each collection is very different and there are no set dates, or hours. Collections tend to be on an ad hoc basis, but are primarily at the evenings or weekends. A usual weekend shift would be 9am
