Beaver Scout Leader
When We Need You
From 16/01/2012 onwards
About Opportunity
Beaver Scout Leader required to plan and deliver a balanced programme to our youngest section aged between 6 and 8. They usually meet weekly in the early evening during term time for about an hour. Activities focus on having fun and making friends. As you'd expect they play lots of games and make things (and so do the Beavers!). Successful candidates will consider the needs, interests and abilities of the younger members when planning and encourage all Beaver Scouts to participate in residential events such as sleepovers and excursions; all within requirements and appropriate rules of the association.

About Clyde Scouts
Scouting is a worldwide Movement, with a membership of over 28 million. In Scotland, The Scout Association is responsible for the provision of Scouting; challenge and adventure for young people aged between 6 and 25, including males and females. It is all about fun with a purpose – helping members to fulfil their potential as individuals and active members of society. We believe that young people develop most when they are learning by doing, when they are given responsibility, work in teams, take acceptable risks and think for themselves. Everything we do is guided by the balanced programme which is a continuous progression of training, activities, badges and awards for young people from 6 to 25.
