About Opportunity

The Penumbra Youth Project in Kirkcaldy is looking for volunteers to help out with a variety of general administration tasks. Tasks will include photocopying material to make up information packs for outside agencies, and the production and distribution of awareness raising materials. Volunteers will help with laminating and binding folders and will make up an inventory of resources for a variety of different projects - eg groupwork, school workshops, 1:1 sessions, drug and alcohol, etc. Under the supervision of the Administrator, other general tasks will also be allocated which may include awareness raising to outside agencies through the provision of information stands. It is hoped that the volunteer will enjoy their involvement and gain from it in terms of their own personal objectives. Penumbra recognises that the relationship with volunteers is one of mutual responsibility and commitment within which both have rights and responsibilities.
