About Opportunity
The volunteer will be assisting the service user to feel less isolated and lonely, if the service user is unable to get out and socialise. The Volunteer will become a companion to the Service User visiting when it is suitable for both the service user and the volunteer. Having a chat and becoming a friendly face. The tasks will vary dependent upon the individual, assistance with mailand newspaper reading may be required, small domestic tasks and making of hot drinks may be required.

Travel Details
The Service covers the whole of Dumfries and Galloway. Travel mileage is paidat 45p per mile if required.
