About Home Link Family Support

They are usually referred to us by Health Visitors/Social Workers who see the need for reliable, sustainable, low-key support by a Home Link befriender.
Skills & Experience
Experience working in the voluntary sector or for a registered charity is essential for this role; reliability and punctuality are essential due to the nature of the role; ability to complete self-directed tasks according to agreed responsibilities; understanding of issues facing children and families is helpful but not essential.
