About Opportunity
Activities include: • giving talks to schools • giving talks to community organisations who’ve supported or are considering supporting Macmillan • attending cheque presentations or local events on behalf of Macmillan and officially thanking donors for their support • proactively identifying opportunities for talks in local organisations and schools in conjunction with your fundraising manager • identifying and developing potential fundraising opportunities within local groups.

• confidence in speaking in front of groups of adults and children • good communication skills and experience in public speaking • a bright and outgoing personality • an ability to use your own initiative and work unsupervised • a knowledge of groups within your community • an interest in cancer care and the services that Macmillan provides.
