About Opportunity
Anchor Boys 5, 6 & 7 yrs. Programmes will vary but will involve games, crafts, physical activities, story telling and will include any talents the volunteer can offer eg art, music etc. Junior Section 8, 9 & 10 yrs. Programmes will vary but will involve using the Achievement Scheme, elementary marching, physical activities, crafts, games, sports activities and any talents the volunteer could offer eg as above plus cooking etc. Company Section 11 to 18 yrs. Programmes will vary but will include the Award Scheme leading up to President's Badge & Queen's Badge, physical activities, games and outdoor pursuits including the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and any talents the volunteer can offer eg photography, band instruction etc.

Skills & Experience
No experience is required but the volunteer needs to be able to work as part of a team. He/she should be able to develop a rapport with young people and understand the problems they face in life.

Training and Induction Details
The volunteer will be put forward for an Induction Course followed by Youth Leader Training Course. Further specialist courses are available later on.
