About Opportunity
Dar Al Falaah aims to offer all pupils a positive and enjoyable experience in physical education. We aim to promote a balanced, challenging and enjoyable P.E programme, within which the children can develop physical skills, physical well-being, and confidence to work with others and a positive attitude to active lifestyles. Working within P.E, we will aim to develop skills for life We would like to provide all our children with opportunities to: 1. Engage in purposeful and enjoyable physical activities 2. Develop physical skills, knowledge and understanding of the concepts involved and the ability to apply these in various contexts. 3. Develop self-awareness, confidence and co-operative relationships with others and the ability to meet challenges presented in a variety of physical setting 4. Develop life-long positive attitude to health and fitness 5. To Provide education activity for children and parents
Skills & Experience
Ideally the volunteer would have previous experience in coaching and games for children.
Travel Details
Indoors at Hillhead High. 22-44 Oakfield Avenue, Glasgow G12 8LJ 5 minute walk from Hillhead Subway Station on Byres Road.
Restrictions
The role requires a mature person, with a good level of physical fitness. A female coach is prefered.

There will be induction training and a full explanation of the programme of activity with the children.
