Learning support (Banff and surrounding areas)
When We Need You
From 24/11/2011 onwards
About Opportunity
At Lead Scotland, we are passionate about supporting disabled people and carers to get involved in learning. We have opportunities for volunteers, who have their own transport, to offer one to one support along the Moray coast line and Aberdeenshire (particularly Banff and Turriff). Contact our Moray Learning Co-ordinator, Barbara Taylor, btaylor@lead.org.uk, 07768 917248, for more details.
Volunteers offer:
reassurance and encouragement
support to make progress with learning
confidence building
- support to get to grips with technology
Volunteers offer support in learning centres like community centres and sometimes in the learner's own home. Volunteers receive induction, are supported and can opt into further learning opportunities.
