About Opportunity

We would like volunteers to promote Hear 4U advocacy service, to children and young people who are looked after and accommodated by Dumfries and Galloway council.

Hear 4U Volunteers will visit residential care providers, once a month, offering information about the service to children and young people, this will support easy access to the service if and when required.

Expenses Detail

As many of the residential placements are in rural settings, volunteers will need access to transport.

travel expenses can be claimed for public transport, and car mileage can be claimed if, you have business insurance included on your car insurance policy.

Frequency & Commitment

Minimum 6 months commitment.

Minimum Age

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
