About Opportunity
New Rhythms For Glasgow is looking to appoint new Board Members who will be committed and able to give the necessary time, energy and dedication to our company’s development. NRFG is a community-based music organisation that has been delivering services to the communities of North Glasgow for over 13 years. Its track record of work has contributed to not only music and arts development within the local area but also to community relations, regeneration and participation. We provide a wide range of services that are inclusive and free to access for all residents in North Glasgow including SQA accredited courses, creative music workshops, volunteering opportunities and traineeships, provision of low cost professional rehearsal and recording facilities, event organisation and support and much more. We are currently recruiting unique individuals with the expertise, time and commitment to join our Board of Directors and provide sound strategic guidance and leadership to help drive the charity forward. NRFG is specifically interested in recruiting Directors with skills and expertise in: Voluntary/ Third Sector Strategic Development Music/Arts Education Community Development Fundraising/Income Generation Finance/Accountancy If selected to join our Board of Directors, you will be expected to contribute approximately 30 hours per annum, inclusive of monthly board meetings.
