Charity Shop Assistant
When We Need You
From 31/10/2011 to 10/05/2012
About Opportunity
Lifeline has two busy and successful charity shops. Our recent move to bigger premises on Gorgie Road generated a queue of customers outside on the day we re-opened. We need more volunteers to work one or two days per week. You will join a long-standing and friendly team sorting and displaying merchandise in the shop. You will also serve customers and be able to tell them about Lifeline’s services if asked. The Shop Manager will provide you with a full induction when you join the team. All volunteers are given ongoing support and receive a certificate of service itemising the knowledge and skills developed in the shop. As well as a professional manager the work of the shop is overseen by a Board of Trustees which includes members with retail management experience.
