About Opportunity
The volunteer will be working for clients who have problems with public services, including Education, Social Work, NHS and Housing. Volunteers will meet with clients, will help them to form their own informed views and will support them to present their views and to challenge proffesionals. Volunteers will require excellent verbal and written communication skills and a diplomatic approach to dealing with difficult situations.

About Your Voice Scotland
Your Voice is a dynamic and growing advocacy service for children and young people with a disability or mental illness. It supports children and young people up to the age of 19.
Travel Details
The work will take place at locations across North Lanarkshire, occasionally outside North Lanarkshire, as and when required by clients. The office base is easily acceible by road, is on the 201 bus route, and is close to Coatdyke train station (10 mins walk)
