About Opportunity

Young people aged 16-18 are invited to lead their peers in informal creative music making. Learn workshop skills, meet new people and create your own music. Hear My Music is running a creative music making project for young people aged 16 – 18 called Drumchapel Sound Box. Creative music making gives the opportunity to speak your mind and express yourself through music. Volunteers on this project will have the chance to learn workshop skills, lead your peers in music making and learn new musical techniques. Hear My Music uses two innovative musical instruments called soundbeam and the skoog. Both are suitable for those with a disability to play. Volunteers will have a chance to use these instruments and learn how to integrate them with conventional instruments. **HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?** If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the Register Interest facility.
