When We Need You
From 24/10/2011 onwards
About Opportunity
ChildLine is appealing to a range of people who are committed to helping protect children. This new service for primary age children is looking for volunteers from across Fife. Schools will receive the new ChildLine Schools Service, which aims to teach primary-age children about abuse, including bullying, how to protect themselves and where to get help if they need it. Volunteers will present assemblies and workshops to children aged between 7 and 11 years old. Volunteers must be 16 or over and will ideally have access to their own or public transport. Volunteers will work in pairs and will be given regular support, guidance and training to ensure they’re able to deliver the assemblies and workshops effectively.
