About Opportunity

The Disability Community are urgently looking for volunteer drivers who will volunteer with one of their 3 projects – Cook ‘n’ Care, delivering hot nutritious meal to residents within North Glasgow. For almost 10 years Cook ‘n’ Care has been providing a first-class meals delivery and care service for vulnerable and disabled people in their own homes. For those who cannot drive there are opportunities to help out on the van. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the Register Interest facility. Next, we will arrange a time for you to come for an informal chat during which we will give you a welcome pack filled with information about our organisation. If you do not receive a response within 2 working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. It generally takes around 1 week after you contact us to get you started.
