When We Need You

About Opportunity
Voluntary Arts Ambassadors promote and highlight local arts and crafts to decision-makers. This is a public advocacy role, connecting with local self-led groups and reflecting their issues. We'll give you training and support, peer networking opportunities and will hook you up with appropriate organisations in your area. Eventually, we aim to have a team of informed, confident arts and crafts representatives across the country, who can help influence Community Planning in their local area. The Voluntary arts are those arts and crafts that people undertake for self-improvement, social networking and leisure, but not primarily for payment. The main purpose of the Voluntary Arts Ambassador's role is to give the voluntary arts and crafts a voice in Community Planning and promote the benefits of taking part in the arts and crafts.
