About Opportunity
Learning Assistants will be involved in the planning, preparation and implementation of Abbot House's new education programme. They will be expected to work with people of all ages, run school group visits, assist with the new kids' club and support talks, workshops and community events. Information will be given on the history of the house and there will be on going support.

Skills & Experience
flexibility, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and patience. Good communication and listening skills, able to work as part of a team as well as independantly and sense of humour. Arts, crafts and drama skills and advantage but not essential. volunteers must be comfortable with working with people of all ages and backgrounds, particularly children and young people.
