Rathbone provides high quality learning and support for people who are experiencing significant disadvantage. It aims to provide high quality work-based training; to provide innovative opportunities and programmes for young people which help them to achieve their potential; to recruit, retain and develop an effective work force committed to the Rathbone mission and values; to work in partnership with organisations which can help achieve our mission; to enhance the financial strength of the organisation as a strong voluntary sector organisation.

Skills & Experience

Some admin. experience would be an advantage, a good telephone manner, good communication skills and good people skills are required.

Restrictions

We work with young people 16-17. If we have a volunteer under 20 the young pweople do not take them seriously but we would consider a volunteer who thinks that they could work with this age group if they are under 20.

Training and Induction Details

All volunteers will receive a thorough induction about Rathbone's work, it's employeer and any training they may require to meet the responsibilities of the role. All volunteers will be provided with a named person who will meet with them regularly.
