About Opportunity

We have recently secured funding to provide a "wheels to work" service for individuals in the Levenmouth area who are excluded from employment due to lack of transport. You would be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the bikes to enable individuals to have reliable transport to travel to their work.

About MyBus

The main aim is to provide access to services and opportunities for people whose mobility is reduced for various reasons; to promote and provide training skills that will assist members/volunteers obtain paid employment; to promote, establish and operate other schemes for the benefit of the community.

Skills & Experience

An interest and knowledge in bike mechanics, no formal qualifications required although hands on experience is essential. Driving licence preferred.

Training and Induction Details

All volunteers will receive a structured induction period to familiarise them with the work of MyBus in general and their own area of work in particular. Training will also be given as appropriate to help fulfil the role effectively and as funds permit.

Expenses Detail

40 pence per mile is payable for car drivers. Bus fares are reimbursed in cash on a weekly basis on production of a valid bus ticket.
