About Opportunity
Enjoy building relationships with people? Want to make a difference? Our iconic collection boxes in shops and other businesses across the country help us raise vital funds for Guide Dogs. We need volunteer Collection Box Coordinators to help us find more homes for collection boxes inWest Rendrewshire (Postcodes PA11, P6, P7) and West Dumbartonshire (Posdcodes G82 and G83). It’s a great opportunity to get out into your local community, build relationships with local businesses and to develop new skills. Our volunteer Collection Box Coordinators place the boxes, collect from them and tally up the cash raised. It’s a totally flexible opportunity that you can carry out as and when it suits you. You’ll be making a real difference by helping Guide Dogs enable blind and partially sighted people to enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else.

About The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association
We provide mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted people. We also campaign for the rights of people with visual impairment, educate the public about eye care and fund eye disease research.

This role is very flexible and can fit in with whatever other committments you may have. You can take on as little or as many collection boxes as you would like in your local area, each box only needs emtied approx every 8 weeks.
Minimum Age
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
