About Opportunity
This is an opportunity to volunteer to support a lady with a learning disability with reading skills. Your role will involve giving her additional support with reading as she currently attends a reading class. This lady attends reading classes which she very much enjoys. She is really eager to learn and would like some extra help at home, in her own time, with a preference for Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. HOW TO GET INVOLVED: If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the Register Interest facility. We will then arrange for an application form to be sent by post. If you do not hear from us within 10 working days please contact the Volunteer Centre. It should take around 4-6 weeks to start volunteering with us - this timescale is dependant upon receipt of PVG scheme membership.
