About Opportunity
Volunteers are needed to help spread the word to their local communities, friends & neighbours about reducing waste and increasing recycling in their area. Zero Waste Volunteers help their communities reduce waste and save money by delivering support and advice about Love Food Hate Waste, Recycle Now, home composting, litter, reuse, and other activities that relate to each of our daily lives. Volunteers will be trained and supported by the local Volunteer Coordinator and Zero Waste Scotland to help them make a real difference , both in their own communities and as part of a larger movement of people who are helping Scotland to meet its world-leading zero waste targets. Skills & Experience
No previous experience necessary. Volunteers should have good communication and people skills; an interest in environmental issues and in living more sustainably.
