About Opportunity

This position will suit anyone with basic cooking skills as there are no full meals on the menu. Orders covered include toasties, baked potatoes, soup and a special on a weekly basis (usually pasta bake, macaroni cheese etc.). Most of the things we sell are provided by volunteers from the Community. There will be some preparation involved before opening and obviously some tidying and clearing up to do at the end. The Manager will also train you to do the stock control (if you have no experience of this) to ensure we do not run out of anything.

About Kincardine Community Coffee Bar (VC)

We would like to boost the profile of the Centre through provision of a community cafe. We provide a service to any member of the public wishing to come in for a chat and something to eat and drink. Our food is served at affordable prices. We have an area for children to play while their parents use the cafe.

Skills & Experience

They will need either Food Hygiene certificate or the Cook Safe one. Ideally they will have previous experience within a catering establishment but would get any training needed - the menu is quite basic!

Travel Details
