About Opportunity
Youth 1st are a Fife wide youth organisation that supports organisations that provide high quality work and educational opportunities with young people. We provide a variety of activities for young people and their youth workers, including training, residential weekends, activity weekends, games nights and much more. We are seeking to recruit new management committee members who will help to provide strategic vision and governance for the organisation. We are particularly keen in attracting members who have experience of any of the following: marketing, management, IT, finance, strategic planning and fundraising. Successful candidates will be committed to working towards the aims of Youth 1st, attending meetings on a regular basis. Youth 1st exists to support and develop high quality work and educational opportunities for young people. Working with our network of clubs, projects and young people we seek to provide enjoyable activities that help young people to develop the skills and attitudes they need to become fulfilled and effective citizens.
Skills & Experience
Knowledge of the voluntary sector, previous volunteering experience and a commitment to regular meetings would be an advantage.
