About The Lodging House Mission
The Lodging House Mission aims to provide day care services for homeless adults and other vulnerable people. We recognise the diverse and sometimes complex needs of our client group and aim to meet these in a variety of ways. Our project relies solely on donations, gifts and the goodwill of our volunteers. Without them, we would not exist.

The volunteer we are looking for would be well informed on the benefits system, keep abreast with employability legislation (particularly concerning this client group), have knowledge of work placement/work shadowing opportunities, understand fully the College bursary system and be aware of learning/training progression routes. An understanding of this client group would be an advantage. You will also have a non-judgemental attitude, the ability to look for diverse solutions and a sense of humour!
