About Scottish Marriage Care

Scottish Marriage Care (SMC) is a family support service with 40 years experience in the specialist field of relationships. A registered charity, voluntary organisation and Investor in People, SMC provides professional relationship counselling and early intervention services through 21 local centres and counselling outlets in urban and rural locations across Scotland. Our services are for families, couples and individuals of all ages and stages. We also provide an extensive range of services for children and young people. SMC delivers its services free from judgement or discrimination of any kind.

Some competence in using a computer, good interpersonal skills and complete dependability.

We are working with adults and we need a certain level of maturity to deal with people in what can be difficult and sensitive situations.
