About Opportunity

Assisting our care staff serving meals to our residents. Volunteers will ensure residents are comfortable at the table and have the appropriate utensils to enjoy their meal. You are encouraged to engage in conversation with residents whilst waiting for the meal to arrive from our kitchens. Under the supervision and guidance of our care staff you will then assist in serving it to our residents. At this time you will be ready to react if a resident requires anything. At the end of the meal plates etc are tidied away and there may be time to converse with some of the residents.
