About Opportunity

Support The Blue Cross in Scotland by fostering either cats or dogs in your own home and promoting animal rescue and rehoming in your area.

Dogs are cared for in the foster home, and cats in a spare bedroom or in external timber cat chalets (provided by The Blue Cross).

Successful candidates will be proactive in promoting the pet in their care and helping to assess suitable adopters.

About The Blue Cross Foster Scheme Scotland

The Blue Cross Foster Scheme in Scotland works in collaboration with Pet Fostering Service Scotland (PFSS).

Where pets in PFSS care are unable to be reunited with their owner The Blue Cross will place the pet in a vetted foster home until a new permanent home can be found.

We are a charity dedicated to improving the lives of sick and unwanted pets. At The Blue Cross we take in animals, primarily cats and dogs in Scotland, and we find them loving new homes.

Owning an animal is one of the most rewarding things you can do and we’re here to champion both people and their pets.
