When We Need You

From 27/06/2011 onwards

About Opportunity

Make a difference in your local community by joining our successful team of dedicated fundraising volunteers. Be part of our team of volunteers collecting regularly at local supermarkets and shopping centres throughout the year.

Did you know that £100,000 was raised from loose change last year from street and store collections? This year we are on target to reach £150,000 - imagine how much more we could raise with your help. Every £410 we raise can pay for someone newly diagnosed as blind or partially sighted to attend a confidence-boosting 'Finding your Feet' weekend.

What will I be doing?

  • Working with our fundraising volunteers you will collect money from local shoppers
  • Record and bank income collected

About RNIB

RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People) is the UK's leading charity offering information, support and advice to almost two million people with sight loss.  As a membership organisation we are dedicated to delivering services our members need and campaigning for their civil and welfare rights.  We support children and adults with sight loss to live full and independent lives.  Volunteers work with us to support blind and partially sighted people in a variety of locations across the UK.  We have over 100 different volunteering roles available which can be done from home, based at an RNIB Group office or out and about in the community.  Volunteering with us means that you will help even more blind and partially sighted people lead full and independent lives.
