About Opportunity

MND Scotland is a country wide charity which provides support and information to people affected by Motor Neurone Disease. A new pilot project is just about to begin involving a home based complementary therapy service to people affected by MND, including patients, carers and family members. We have need of qualified therapists who are experienced in any of the following disciplines: Aromatherapy, Therapeutic Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Indian Head Massage or On Site Massage. Therapists must have their own insurance. Treatments will be carried out in the client’s own home at a time which is mutually convenient to both the client and the therapist. Training will be provided. Initially this pilot will take place in Glasgow, North / South Lanarkshire and Central Region. This opportunity will be a great CV builder to any therapist interested in working within the NHS / hospice or palliative care setting. **HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?** If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the Register Interest facility.
