About Opportunity
This is a new project to allow people to gain new skills, meet new people, and experience a variety of interesting habitat conservation work throughout the countryside areas surrounding New Cumnock, Cumnock, Muirkirk and Auchinleck. The tasks planned are varied and may include biodiversity surveying, footpath maintenance, gardening and small scale practical conservation tasks. This opportunity is ideal for recent ecology/environmental science graduates looking to gain experience, as well as anyone else with an interest in the natural world and a desire to help improve their local environment.
