About Opportunity
To act as the Treasurer for the Branch and be represented on the Committee. Maintain accounts; allocate any funding that the club attains, including payment of expenses, and deal with any other financial matters that arise. You will responsible to The Branch Chairperson.
About D&G Branch of Scottish Disability Sport
The Regional Branch of Scottish Disability Sport aims to provide opportunities for all disabled people to participate and compete in sport. The branch is committed to promoting and creating sporting opportunities for disabled people of all ages and abilities in Dumfries and Galloway.
Skills & Experience
The Treasurer is the chief financial management officer for the Branch and is responsible to the Branch Chairperson. Ideally the Treasurer is someone who is: Well organised, Able to allocate regular time periods to maintain the books, Able to keep good records, Prepared to make financial decisions, Able to work in a logical orderly manner, Aware of information, which is needed to be kept for the annual audit.
Travel Details
The group meets once every two months in Dumfries. The venue for meetings is the DG One Leisure Complex.
