About Opportunity
Treasurer - We require a treasurer to keep financial record of the civic week income and expenditure, pay bills, pay into the accounts any funds and help the committee with any accountancy requirements. We hold meetings once a month to discuss the planning of civic week activities, Douglas day parade, Halloween fun night, the civic week ball and fund raising activities. We are a group of volunteers of like minded people working to bring together the community of Castle Douglas and have a good time.
About Castle Douglas Civic Events Committee
To provide entertainment for the people of Castle Douglas and continue the traditions of the town. We organise the civic week activities, Douglas day parade, halloween fun night and The civic week ball. We hold fund raising activities though out the year.
